a plane crash...
an uncharted island...

a Polynesian beauty...
Will the lost pilot stay in Paradise with the woman he loves,
or go back . . .
to save his dying brother?

Our "self-made" man drifts onto this idyllic tropical island that the sinless residents claim is the (fictitious, of course) Garden of Eden. Due to injuries sustained in the crash, Bryan is forced to remain on the island to recuperate before going back to the "real" world where he was scheduled to donate a kidney to his dying brother.
As the crippled patient and his lovely nurse, Rachel, banter, debate and flirt across the island, they eventually fall in love, posing the obvious conflict of, "To stay or not to stay." It's a doomed love affair. She won't leave, and he can't stay.
In the genre of some of C. S. Lewis' books, The Isle of Eden could be classified as "theological fiction" as it deals with many of the universal questions that have plagued mankind since the beginning of time -- Why does God allow evil? How can I trust a God I cannot see? and Why can't I understand God?
Sometimes, when you want to go forward in life, you have to go back... to the Garden.
